My name is Gillian Forsyth, I work both from home and recently from Falkirk Football Stadium carrying out Beauty & Holistic Treatments.
I started in the Beauty Therapist Industry 18 years ago working in Party Plan. My training consisted of various Skincare Treatments and Bridal Make Up. I thoroughly enjoyed the treatments and the feedback received from clients. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the sales element and left this company, but continued to do Bridal Make Up.
A friend introduced me to reflexology and during the treatments my therapist discovered an ailment which, was medically confirmed over a year later. This stimulated my interest in Holistic Therapies. After studying Reiki for 4 years, I am now a Reiki Master and spend a lot of time treating clients, friends, family and family pets (yes it does work on animals!). Reiki has made such a huge difference to my life and I could spent hours talking about it - but I won't! I just describe it as Magical and feel so lucky that I have it in my life.
Over the last few years I have trained in various different treatments from Crystal Therapy to Indian Head Massage. In May 2010 I qualified in Swedish Massage with the Scottish Massage School. So this is an exciting time! In July I gained my Diploma in Hot Stones Therapy and in August Waxing and Sports Massage will be added to my treatment list.
